Was ist Dua? What is du’a?

Dua bedeutet, Allah direkt zu bitten: um Vergebung, Rechtleitung, Hilfe, Schutz oder Dankbarkeit. Du kannst auf Arabisch bitten, aber auch in deiner eigenen Sprache. Du’a means asking Allah directly: for forgiveness, guidance, help, protection or gratitude. You may ask in Arabic, but also in your own language.

  • Aufrichtig und mit Hoffnung bitten.Ask sincerely and with hope.
  • Mit Lobpreis und Salawat beginnen.Begin with praise and salawat.
  • Nicht ungeduldig werden.Do not become impatient.
  • Halal leben und Sünden meiden.Strive for halal and avoid sins.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobanaa ba‘da idh hadaytanaa wa hab lanaa min ladunka rahmah. Innaka Antal-Wahhaab.

Unser Herr, lass unsere Herzen nicht abweichen, nachdem Du uns rechtgeleitet hast, und schenke uns von Dir Barmherzigkeit.Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ
Allahumma inni a‘oodhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan.
